Our terroir cuisine

Terroir cuisine is a term that refers to dishes made with a cooking style that highlights local products and most often uses produce grown on the premises. Auberge d’Andromède excels in this and serves you only the freshest products from its ecology-minded garden and from the hormone-free meats. Our methods of preparation respect tradition and quality, resulting in  duck confit and other dishes that exemplify flavours of our gastronomic terroir cuisine specific to the Eastern Townships. Chef Gilles is proud to invite you to try his tasty French recipes, enhanced by use of organic vegetables and herbs, daily-fresh eggs and eatable flowers.

We are eager to offer you top-quality ingredients and to share little secrets of savoir-faire.

Discover the pleasure of country-style dining and offer your palette the delicate taste of homebred duck foie gras, bison medallion, wapiti sirloin or perhaps a salad featuring home-cured smoked salmon.

Don’t forget to bring a bottle of your own favourite wine or other alcoholic beverage to accompany your meal. An evening of gastronomic delight awaits you!

In a beautiful setting, the Auberge d’Andromède farm is an ideal gathering place for a country-style wedding, a family party or other social activities. Just ask the chef and he’ll suggest a generous menu crafted according to your tastes.

Our dining room can seat up to 20 people and we offer comfortable lodging for those who wish to stay overnight.
